A member of Yavapai Silent Witness’s “Catch 22” list has been taken into custody. After several months of investigation, deputies from the U.S. Marshal Service’s Fugitive Task Force found 41-year-old Aubrie Lee Howell in San Diego, California. She was Day 8 of this year’s “Catch 22” list. On April 26th, 2019, a Yavapai County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop Ronald Bookout Jr. for a traffic violation as he was riding a motorcycle away from a suspected drug house in the 100 block of Garden Street in Prescott. After crashing his motorcycle, he was found to be in possession of heroin and methamphetamine. On April 30, 2019, a search warrant was served on the residence Bookout was seen leaving on the 26th. Howell was found in the house and stated she was sleeping there and there was evidence she lived there with Bookout. More heroin was located inside. Howell was arrested for drug possession and was later convicted and placed on probation, which she violated. Howell is currently in the San Diego County Jail awaiting extradition back to Yavapai County.
