Due to rising COVID-19 cases at Yavapai Regional Medical Center, the hospital has decided to pause all inpatient and outpatient elective procedures at both west and east campuses starting Monday. Emergency and urgent procedures will continue however. Hospital officials say they continue to see COVID-19 inpatient admissions at record levels, with 109 COVID-positive patients total at both hospitals as of Monday morning. Additional units are being converted to COVID isolation units to care for the high-volume of patients. Officials say other YRMC services will not be impacted by the move. YRMC’s west campus currently has 80 COVID-19 patients and the east campus has 29.
