A Yavapai County Superior Court judge was arrested Sunday afternoon in Prescott. Police say Judge Cele Hancock was arrested after a report of a possible impaired driver. Hancock was pulled over and showed signs of alcohol consumption and failed several sobriety tests. Police say breath tests show Hancock initially had a blood-alcohol level of .158, with later tests of .219 and .214, which is nearly three-times the legal limit in Arizona. Hancock was arrested on suspicion of extreme DUI. She was later cited and released. Hancock was first elected to the bench in 2010.
