The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is working with Yavapai County election officials, as well as all law enforcement in the county, to provide election security on Election Day. YCSO is once again assisting the election’s office to implement security plans, including escorting ballots to the county recorder’s office from precincts, and provide security of the recorder and election departments during vote counting on November 8th. YCSO will also be responding to any reports of election-related law violations. If anyone in Yavapai County suspects voter fraud is taking place, contact the sheriff’s department’s non-emergency number at (928) 771-3260.
