The Tri-City DUI Enforcement Task Force conducted a New Year’s Eve enforcement. The task force is made up of Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies and other county police officers. Thirteen officers took part in the detail over multiple jurisdictions. Officers conducted 100 traffic stops and 87 people were contacted through the evening. Four DUI arrests were made with an average Blood Alcohol Content of. 120-percent, with .08-percent being the legal limit. In addition, 24 civil traffic citations were issued with the majority of those being for speeding, with four arrests. During the enforcement, there were two rollover accidents with no deaths.
