Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Thursday Afternoon And Evening For Greater Flagstaff Area

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Thursday as another winter storm comes through the area. The advisory will be in effect for 1 p.m. until 11 p.m. for the Greater Flagstaff area and Williams. Forecasters say expect one-to-four inches of snow below 8,000-feet and four-to-eight inches of snow above 8,000-feet. Arizona Snowbowl is expected to receive near a foot of new snow. It will be windy as well, with gusts up to 40 miles-per-hour at times. Roads could be slippery Thursday night into Friday morning in the area. The heaviest snow is expected from late afternoon through the evening. If you have to travel Thursday afternoon and evening, use caution.
