Now that the winds from the latest winter storm are beginning to come down, there were impressive wind gusts around Northern Arizona. Doney Park saw a wind gust of 75-miles-per hour at around 7 a.m. Flagstaff Airport registered a 74 mile-an-hour wind gusts at around 5:14 a.m. Williams Airport saw a wind gust of 61 miles per hour at 1:35 a.m., but the biggest wind gust was at Sunset Point on Interstate-17, where an 88-mile-per-hour gust was recorded at 6:53 a.m. Winds will die down through the day, but another winter storm is expected Thursday with more snow on tap.
