A Wind Advisory has been issued for Thanksgiving Day across Northern Arizona. The National Weather Service says the advisory will be in effect from 5 a.m. until 5 p.m. The advisory includes the Greater Flagstaff area, Williams and the Mogollon Rim. Forecasters say expect winds 20-to-30 miles per hour with gusts up to 55 miles-per-hour at times. Areas near Mount Elden, and southwest of the San Francisco Peaks may see gusts over 55 miles-per-hour. Travel may be difficult along area highways, including Highway 180 and Interstate-17 between Flagstaff and Rimrock. Use caution if you intend to travel Thursday.
