The annual Fourth of July fireworks show in Williams has been cancelled due to the current wildfire danger. Mayor John Moore made the decision Wednesday after talking with area fire officials. Moore was going to wait until Sunday to decide, but felt that adequate precipitation wouldn’t fall before then. All other Fourth of July events will still be held as scheduled, including the parade, ice cream social and more.
