A wet storm so far has dumped a foot of snow onto Arizona Snowbowl, and heavy rain that lead to a Flash Flood Warning elsewhere. Snowbowl officials say 12-inches of snow fell overnight with more snow expected Sunday. Heavy rain fell below, 8,000-feet sending an abundance of water down Oak Creek. The National Weather Service issued a Flash Flood Warning Sunday morning, after gauges in Oak Creek Canyon measured a water rise of six feet due to rains. Munds and Jacks Canyon also saw a rise in water as well. Rain is expected to turn to snow as snow levels fall through the day. Less than an inch of snow is expected over the next couple of days. However, a stronger, colder storm is expected to come through Northern Arizona Tuesday night and into Wednesday.
