Wednesday unseasonably warm temperatures led to a few records. The National Weather Service says Flagstaff’s high of 79 degrees broke the previous high of 78 set in 1992. The high at the Prescott Airport was 87 Wednesday, which broke the previous record for the date of 86 set in 2013. Payson’s high of 88 degrees broke the previous mark of 87 set in 1992 and Seligman’s high of 91 smashed the old record of 87 set in 2013. Page and Winslow tied records with 90 and 89 respectively. Forecasters say we could see another batch of record highs Thursday, before we start a cool down Friday.
