Vice President Kamala Harris To Speak At NAU Later This Year

Vice President Kamala Harris will be speaking at Northern Arizona University as part of a month-long college tour later this year. The White House says Harris will visit a dozen campuses in at least seven states in what’s being called the “Fight For Our Freedoms College Tour.” The White House says the tour intends to “mobilize young people in the ongoing fight for fundamental freedoms and rights.” She is expected to focus on key issues of today, such as reproductive freedom, gun safety, climate action, voting rights and LGBTQ+ equality. The vice president will also visit Hampton University, North Carolina A&T, Morehouse College, the University of Wisconsin and the College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas. A date for her visit to NAU has yet to be announced.
