A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through Friday evening as a severe winter storm moves through the state. Expect between 19 and 25 inches of snow in Flagstaff and Williams, Doney Park can expect 13-to-19 inches of snow. Prescott Valley can expect between 14-and-20 inches, Prescott 18-to-24 inches and Sedona 10-to-16 inches of snow. The hardest hit will be the Mogollon Rim, where Payson could see 22-to-30 inches of snow, Pine-Strawberry 29-to-37 inches and Forest Lakes could see between 30-and-38 inches of snow from this storm. Expect strong, gusty winds at times which could create whiteout conditions on the highways. Motorists should think twice before travelling in Northern Arizona.
