Utah Officials Find A Vehicle In Lake Powell That Had Been Missing For Nearly A Year

Lower water levels in Lake Powell turned up a vehicle that had been missing for nearly a year. Authorities in southern Utah recovered a vehicle with a body inside in the lake near Hite Marina Monday. Deputies from the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office, park rangers and volunteers helped pull the body from the car. Officials say the vehicle may have been missing since September of 2020 when it fell 600 feet off a ledge and into the lake. There’s no word on the identity of the person that was found inside
