With all of the overnight rain and snow, there is good news to pull from the recent weather. Water from Upper Lake Mary south of Flagstaff began spilling into Lower Lake Mary Wednesday morning. Upper Lake Mary has seen an abundance of water drain into it over the past couple of weeks, especially over the last week or so. Lower Lake Mary has begun to fill up with runoff and now will get a major boost thanks to added water from its neighbor lake. If Lower Lake Mary continues to fill with upper lake water and continued runoff, it will once again supply the City of Flagstaff with water for residents to use.
