Two people were killed after a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Prescott Valley. Central Arizona Fire and Medical and Prescott Fire crews were called to the scene at East Highway 69 and North Valley View Drive at around 9 a.m. A white sedan heading westbound, driven by a 61-year-old Prescott Valley woman, crossed the center line and hit a minivan driven by a 62-year-old Prescott man. Preliminary investigation indicates the woman may have suffered a medical incident just prior to the collision. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. Eastbound Highway 69 was closed while crews cleared the scene, while westbound traffic was allowed through. The lanes were cleared at around 12:20 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.
