Two people were hurt as they crossed Gurley Street and were hit by a vehicle Thursday morning in Prescott. Police responded to the intersection of Gurley and Cortez streets at 10:30 a.m. Officials say 23-year-old Katherine Sibley from Prescott was driving a 2006 VW when she made a turn off Cortez and onto Gurley. At the same time, two people crossed Gurley, lawfully in the crosswalk with the light. Sibley didn’t see them and hit them both. Each pedestrian was treated at the scene and transported to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for treatment. Sibley was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
