Two people are dead after the airplane they were in, crashed en route to Page from Deer Valley Airport in Phoenix. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials were contacted Monday by the crew of a DPS helicopter that they found a downed aircraft in a remote area about five-and-a-half miles southeast of Cordes Lakes. The two have been identified as the pilot, 34-year-old William Engel Bell of Peoria and his eight-year-old daughter Amira Caballero. They were flying to Page back on Saturday and were reported missing Sunday. The helicopter found the plane upside down and on its wings at around 12:15 p.m. The National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating the incident.
