The Town of Prescott Valley launched the first phase of the Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Phased Transit Plan on September 12th. The system operates within a transit zone, so no trips can be made outside of this zone. Trips are door-to-door with no assigned bus stops. The cost of the trip is one-to-two dollars, with the YAV On Demand app or cash payments accepted. The service runs Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is open to the public. The transit service can transport up to ten passengers at a time. For more information, policies, and scheduling, go to PrescottValley-AZ.Gov/183/Public-Transit or call 1-(866)-YAV-TRAN.
