The Town of Clarkdale has decided to cancel its Fourth of July events for this year due to ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Concert in the Park season has been canceled until next summer. The concert’s sponsor, Salt River Materials Group will purchase a Fourth of July display that will be set up at the Clarkdale Town Park. In addition the town has decided to cancel the annual Old Fashion Fourth of July celebration that takes place every year at the park. Officials say not knowing what the governor’s regulations will be in the coming months regarding the pandemic, led to the decision.
