Three Slightly Injured After A Semi-Truck Goes Off Eastbound I-40 Thursday Morning

Ponderosa Fire crews were called to a semi-truck accident Thursday morning on eastbound Interstate-40. When crews arrived at the accident between Bellemont and Parks at around 4:30 a.m., they found the truck down an embankment, on its side. Three people were inside, but had exited the cab with minor injuries. The truck was carrying a nonhazardous load at the time of the incident. The cause of the accident is under investigation and no other vehicles were reportedly involved.
