Three People Were Killed, Including A Four-Month Old, In A Rollover Accident Near Winslow Wednesday Morning

Three people were killed, including a four-month old and a teenage boy, after the truck they were in lost control and crashed on eastbound Interstate-40 Wednesday morning. DPS says the accident happened at around 7:34 a.m. near Winslow. The vehicle was carrying eight people, including the driver. Authorities say for an unknown reason, the truck ran off the road into the median. The driver then overcorrected and swerved into the number-one lane, then may have oversteered to the left causing the truck to roll multiple times, ejecting three people. Those ejected were pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining five, including the driver, were injured and taken to the hospital. DPS says impairment hasn’t been ruled out as a factor in the accident.
