Three Fee Sites In Coconino National Forest Closing For One Day Next Week

The U.S. Forest Service is advising recreationalists of fee sites in the Coconino National Forest that will be closed next week for parking lot resurfacing. The three sites that are closing are in Sedona. The Call of the Canyon Picnic Site and West Fork of Oak Creek will be closed on Tuesday, and re-open at 8 a.m. on Wednesday. The Crescent Moon Picnic Site will be closed on Wednesday, and will re-open at 8 a.m. on Thursday. The Grasshopper Point Swimming and Picnic Area will be closed on Thursday, and will re-open at 8 a.m. on Friday. While the parking lots are being resurfaced, trails, swimming holes and other recreational areas will also be closed. For more information, visit the forest’s website.
