The Tri-City DUI Task Force had a busy weekend during the Labor Day Weekend. Officers from the Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley police departments along with Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies and DPS State Troopers made numerous traffic stops between Friday and Monday. The stops resulted in 729 citations and 12 DUI-related arrests. One driver was arrested for aggravated DUI, three drivers were arrested for extreme DUI, four for DUI-Drugs and four were arrested for DUI with a blood alcohol content above .08. An additional 308 drivers were cited for speeding, 11 for criminal speed and one for reckless driving. The Tri-City DUI Task Force will conduct high profile details through the year.
