The Search Continues For A Couple Who Fled Security Personnel In Utah And Still Could Be In Arizona

It’s been more than a week and the search continues for a couple who fled from security in Utah as they were being returned to Tucson to face murder charges. The U.S. Marshal’s office said Tuesday that Blane Barksdale and his wife, 59-year-old Susan Barksdale are possibly getting help from several people to stay hidden. Marshals and the FBI are going through hundreds of tips since the two overpowered two security officers in Blanding, Utah and escaped. They are wanted in connection with the murder of 72-year-old Frank Bligh on April 16th in Tucson. The two were last seen driving a red GMC Sierra pickup truck that they got from a friend outside of St. Johns. The truck has an Arizona license plate 127XTY and has damage to the front passenger side and rear bumper. The Barksdale’s are believed to be armed and dangerous. Marshal’s believe they are somewhere in Arizona or New Mexico. A reward of ten-thousand dollars per person is being offered for information leading to their arrest. If anyone has seen them, or know their whereabouts call 911, or 88-CRIME.
