The City of Flagstaff is hosting a community volunteer day is areas downstream of the Museum Fire burn scar tomorrow. Volunteers will be assisting residents who are elderly or have a disability, repair their emergency sandbag mitigation. To request volunteer assistance, call (928) 213-2102. Resources are limited and crews will address as many properties as time and resources allow. Volunteers should meet at the Coconino County Health and Human Services building on North King Street. The event will take place from 8 a.m. until noon. Volunteers are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes, pants and sun protection, and to bring a refillable water bottle, a face covering for dust and work gloves if available.
