Suspect Turns Himself In After Finding Out He Was Wanted For Stealing A Truck In Mayer

A man turned himself in Wednesday, admitting to stealing a truck in Mayer Tuesday. Yavapai County Sheriff’s officials say 20-year-old Benjamin Blasco was booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on charges including theft of vehicle, burglary and criminal damage. The victim told authorities he left the vehicle unlocked with the keys inside. Blasco told authorities he found out he was wanted after he saw his photo across social media. He is e being held on $20-thousand dollars bond.
