A woman has been arrested after she was involved in a fight and allegedly stabbed another person Tuesday afternoon in Flagstaff. Police responded to Route 66 and Fanning Drive at around 3:35 p.m. on a report of people fighting and pushing each other into the westbound lanes of Route 66 in the area of Fanning. The first officer on the scene found a person who had been stabbed. Additional police and medical resources were called to the scene. While rendering first aid to the victim, a witness pointed out the possible suspect. Officers quickly located the woman and took her into custody. She has been identified as Leticia Nova Carrasco. The victim was taken to Flagstaff Medical Center for treatment of multiple stab wounds. Carrasco has been booked into the Coconino County Detention Center on charges of aggravated assault and armed robbery. Other charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
