Suppression repair on Spruce Mountain is continuing, thanks to lower fire risk in the Prescott National Forest. Officials say heavy equipment will be used to finish the suppression repair work on the ridge south of the Spruce Mountain Lookout Tower, as weather conditions allow. Residents and visitors need to be aware of equipment while traveling in and out of the area, especially Groom Creek Loop Trail number-307 and Isabella Trail number-377. For more information, contact the Bradshaw Ranger District at (928) 443-8000.
