A Silver Alert issued for a missing Prescott Valley man has been canceled after being found safe by Gila River Police. Authorities were looking for 80-year-old Elmer Colwell, who was last seen leaving his home in the area of the 51-hundred block of North Verde Lane at 11 a.m. Tuesday, leaving for an area restaurant. Elmer has been diagnosed with dementia.
