Several Sedona Neighborhoods Were Put Under “GO” Evacuation Status Wednesday As Oak Creek Rose To Flood Stage

Several neighborhoods in Sedona have been cleared to return home after they were given the “Go” order for evacuation Wednesday due to rising flood waters in Oak Creek. At 6:30 this morning Oak Creek was at 13-feet and forecast to rise above flood stage to 15-feet. Areas in evacuation zones saw water, but there was minimal damage in most places. A Flood Warning remains in effect until 8 p.m.

Jayson Coil with Sedona Fire joined Jeff and Dave on “The Jeff Kennedy Show” this morning to talk about the evacuations and the status of Oak Creek.  Click here to listen to the interview.
