Searchers found a missing Maryland man Friday morning, alive and needed treatment. Officials say 66-year-old Clifton Beck from Mount Ary, Maryland was found at around 8:18 a.m. near Roosevelt Point on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. On Tuesday, the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center received a report of an overdue backpacker. Beck obtained a backcountry permit to spend two nights on the Plateau from September 10th to the 12th. Beck is in stable condition and is being treated.
