The body of a missing man, who presumably drowned in Chevlon Canyon near Winslow, was found Saturday afternoon. Joseph City Fire officials say witnesses saw a man go into the water at the Chevlon Canyon Bridge Friday at around 5 p.m. and never resurfaced. Divers from both the Joseph City and Winslow fire departments entered the water and tried to follow the man. After a brief search, officials decided to call it off due to fading daylight and poor visibility in the water. The researched resumed Saturday morning and found the man’s body later in the day. The man’s identity is not known.
