Copper Canyon Fire and Medical crews were called to Bell Trail Thursday after a female hiker reportedly fell about 20 feet. Crews hiked several miles up the trail in the wilderness area to get to the woman. Crews called in the Yavapai County Sheriff’s helicopter to help with extracting the hiker. The woman suffered a head injury and was airlifted by a medical helicopter from the scene. Crews didn’t notice any other fractures are problems with the woman at the scene. Her identity and condition is unknown.
