The Coconino County Board of Supervisors has received roughly five-million dollars from the American Rescue Plan Act to address community needs caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. With this fund, Coconino County has officially issued a Request for Information for community members in order to gather opinions on projects and services to properly disperse funds. As of right now, the county is looking for information regarding housing, support for vulnerable populations, behavioral health treatment and support, education, business support, COVID-19 impacts to eligible local governments, and workforce development. Once the county narrowed down the feedback from community members, the county will issue a public solicitation, like a Request of Proposals. Submissions of the Request of Information are due on April 15th at 5 p.m.
