Arizona State President Karen Fann’s records have reportedly been subpoenaed by the FBI for an investigation into former President Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Arizona. “12 News” reports not only Fann is under investigation, State Senator Kelly Townsend has also been subpoenaed for copies of communications with Trump’s lawyers. Townsend is running for re-election to the Senate in legislative District 7, which now runs from just south of Flagstaff to eastern Pinal County. She’s running against current District 6 State Senator Wendy Rogers in the GOP primary. Fann was instrumental in leading a long audit of ballots from Maricopa County regarding the 2020 election. The Prescott Senator is retiring from the State Senate at the end of her term, which is in January.
