A Red Flag Warning will be in effect for some of Northern Arizona today. The warning will be in effect from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. for areas that include: Flagstaff, Doney Park, Williams, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Seligman, Valle, along with areas in the Prescott, Coconino and Tonto national forests. Forecasters say winds are expected to be 15-to-25 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles an hour at times. Humidity levels will be in the single digits as well, which makes for prime conditions for a wildfire to grow quickly. If you are driving today, use caution and make sure that if you are pulling a trailer that its chains are up off the highway and don’t throw lit cigarettes out of your vehicle’s window. If you see smoke in the forest, call 9-1-1.
