A Red Flag Warning will be in effect for most of Northern Arizona Thursday. The National Weather Service is forecasting winds 15-to-25 miles-per-hour with gusts up to 45 miles-per-hour at times. Humidities are forecast to be below ten percent. The combination of gusty winds and low humidities can cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity before first responders can contain them. Areas included in the Red Flag Warning are: the Greater Flagstaff area, Williams, the Grand Canyon, the White Mountains, most of the Navajo Nation and also portions of all five Northern Arizona forests. If you are traveling in a high profile vehicle, use caution. The warning will be in effect Thursday between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
