A public memorial service will take place next week for fallen Yavapai County Sheriff’s Sergeant Thomas Tieman. Tieman passed away from a heart attack last Friday evening at his home. When deputies got the call, they quickly responded to his home. Tieman was stabilized and taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center where he later passed away. Sergeant Tieman served in law enforcement for over 25 years and began his career in 1994 with the Arizona Department of Corrections. He spent 15 years with YCSO before passing away. YCSO asks the public to attend the service if they wish on Thursday, April 6th at 11 a.m. at the Yavapai College Performing Arts Center in Prescott.
