A Prescott woman was arrested Wednesday on charges of embezzling a local non-profit and potentially committing fraud of a second business. Police responded to a report from the owners of the non-profit reptile rescue back on January 5th, that Davomana Dalton embezzled around $70-thousand from the business. After the owners turned over evidence to police, they arrested Dalton Wednesday at her other place of employment in Prescott. The second owner asked officers what they were arrested her for. After finding out details of her arrest, the owner told police that Dalton may be involved with many suspicious transactions in his business as well. Both cases are under investigation and no additional information is available.
