Prescott Valley Police, with the support from the Arizona Governor’s Office of Highway Safety DUI Traffic Enforcement Program, will be performing additional DUI and seatbelt enforcement over Memorial Day Weekend. The extra enforcement will begin Friday and continue through Monday. Their goal is to reduce the number of car crashes resulting in injuries or death by focusing their attention on State Route 69, one of the busiest corridors in the area. Prescott Valley Police remind residents and travelers to slow down, wear a seatbelt, and never drive under the influence. Make sure you drive sober, have a designated driver, or call a ride service. To report suspected DUI, reckless, or unsafe driving, call (928) 772-9267 or call 911.
