Prescott Valley Police Reminds Residents To Lock Their Homes And Vehicles

The Prescott Valley Police Department is investigating recent burglaries to homes and vehicles that have occurred throughout the Prescott Valley area. Authorities say almost all of the vehicles targeted and victimized were left unsecured and unlocked. In addition, the recent residential burglaries occurred when doors and windows were left open or unlocked. These burglaries are often crimes of opportunity where many suspects have only burglarized a home or vehicle if they’ve found it unlocked.
