Prescott Valley Police Looking For A Purse Snatcher That Led To Attempted Fraud

Prescott Valley Police are looking for a woman, who stole a purse from a victim in Prescott Valley that turned into a fraud attempt. Police say on Saturday, October 8th at around 1 p.m. a woman stole a purse, from a victim, which contained credit cards and identification. The female suspect then used that information to attempt to purchase gift cards at one location totaling nearly $500. She used that information at another location to purchase a gift card and other items totaling more than $500. At a third location, the female suspect then attempted to cash a check using the victim’s information. The suspect is described as a white female, approximately 25-to-28 years old, medium build, approximately five-feet to five-foot-five inches tall with long dirty blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, red and black camisole, blue denim shorts, black shoes, and wearing a surgical mask. The suspect also has an unknown tattoo on her right upper thigh area.
