Prescott Valley Police are looking for a man wanted in a possible abduction attempt of two kids Monday. Officials say a family was out for a bike ride when one of the kids had a problem with their bike. The mother directed the older children to continue riding home. The 14-year-old girl saw a red station wagon following her and her ten-year-old brother on East Sommer Drive at around 7:09 p.m. The man slowed and asked them if they needed a ride home and asked questions about their parents. The children continued to ride toward home. The car sped past, stopped and the man told them to get in the car. The rode their bikes past the vehicle. The man stopped again, this time blocking the road. He asked the kids to get in again. This time the kids rode into a ditch to get around the car. The girl told police this happened about a month ago with the same man near American Legion Park on East Yavapai Road, but it wasn’t reported. The man is described as wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses and an Adidas shirt. The car had a sticker on the back window. If anyone has information about the suspect, call Prescott Valley Police at (928) 772-9267 or call Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or leave a tip online at yavapaisw.com.
