Prescott Police Officer Cited For Impaired Driving After An Accident Friday Afternoon In Prescott

A Prescott Police officer was involved in a two-vehicle accident, driving while impaired Friday afternoon in Prescott. Officers responded to the intersection of State Route 89 and Prescott Lakes Parkway at around 4 p.m. When they arrived they saw the accident that was minor and no one was injured. One of the drivers was Prescott Police Detective Dillenbeck. Officers say that Dillenbeck was possibly impaired. As a result, Yavapai County Sheriff’s investigators were called to the scene. As the result of an on-scene investigation, Dillenbeck was arrested on several counts of impaired driving. He was cited and released. Dillenbeck was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
