Prescott Police Arrest Man For Firing Shotgun Into Wife’s Empty Vehicle Monday

A Prescott man was arrested Monday after firing a shotgun into an unoccupied vehicle belonging to his wife Sunday night. Prescott Police responded to the seven-hundred block of West Gurley Street at around 7:25 p.m. on reports of gunshots. Officers determined it was a domestic argument that led 31-year-old Kristopher Thompson-Moxness to fire a shotgun into his wife’s empty vehicle. No one was injured. Further investigation revealed Kristopher fled the scene prior to police arriving, but he was located the next day when he returned to his residence. He then admitted his involvement and was taken into custody. Kristopher has since been booked into Yavapai County Jail for endangerment per domestic violence, discharging a firearm within the city limits. and criminal damage per domestic violence.
