Prescott Fire crews were called to Lynx Lake Saturday after a hiker passed out due to heat-related health issues. Crews arrived at the lake at around 3 p.m. and found a 44-year-old woman who said she felt weak and unable to continue the walk. She had been walking on a trail around the lake with her husband and son at the time. Crews carried her to an awaiting ambulance by a stokes basket. She was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center for further evaluation. Authorities remind those who head to the outdoors to hike , to remember to take plenty of water with them, along with some food and a fully-charged cell phone.
