A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Northern Arizona for areas above 6,000-feet through 5 p.m. Sunday evening. The Warning includes: Flagstaff, Williams, Prescott, Doney Park and towns along the Mogollon Rim. The National Weather Service says expect a mix of rain and snow until this afternoon where it will change to snow. The heaviest snow is expected tonight and again Saturday night through Sunday. Forecasters say Flagstaff could expect seven-to-11 inches of snow, six-to-ten inches in Doney Park and Williams and three-to-five inches of snow in Prescott. Then storm number two comes into play starting Monday and lasting through Tuesday night. This storm could dip snow levels to 2,000-feet. The National Weather Service says 14-to-20 inches of snow is possible with storm number two in Flagstaff. A combined 20-to-30 inches of snow could fall over the next few days in Flagstaff. If you have to travel, keep an eye on the weather and any watches or warnings that are issued. If you have to drive, use caution and if you can, stay home.
