Over A Foot Of Snow Fell In Most Places In Northern Arizona Wednesday

A major winter storm dumped a foot of snow or more in some areas of Northern Arizona Wednesday. The National Weather Service says the Flagstaff Airport picked up just over a foot of snow with other areas of Flagstaff receiving between nine and 14 inches of snow. Officials say 15-and-a-half inches of snow fell in Williams, 14-and-a-half in Kachina Village and eight-and-a-half in Ash Fork. Prescott Valley saw five inches of snow and Sedona received four inches. Arizona Snowbowl received 15 inches of new snow. The storm has moved on to the east and colder temperatures have taken its place.
