One person was killed after a plane crash near Show Low Wednesday. Timber Mesa Fire and Medical officials say the plane went down in a meadow near Show Low Creek. Authorities say the person who died was a passenger on the plane and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another person on board was airlifted to a Phoenix area hospital in critical condition. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the accident. While responding to the plane crash, Navajo County Sheriff’s deputies were involved in a two-vehicle accident on Porter Mountain Road and Juniper. The accident rolled the sheriff’s vehicle onto its roof. The deputy suffered minor injuries. Other parties involved were unhurt.
